Who is Wimbledon Accommodation?
Wimbledon Accommodation Ltd is a registered Company regulated by the Companies Act 2006. The owners, David & Janet Thurtell each have more than 25 years experience in the leisure and hospitality industry. We have been accommodation providers in Wimbledon since 1999. As our Testimonials show our clients include former Wimbledon Champions, Corporate clients and Tournament organisers.
How do I find the right property for me?
First of all you need to decide whether you wish to rent a House or an Apartment or prefer a Homestay. This will depend on the number of people in your party, the length of stay and your budget. You then view the choice of properties from our website. If you do not find exactly what you want you are welcome to contact us as we are constantly receiving new properties to be added our database.
What is a Homestay?
A Homestay offers the opportunity to stay with a local Wimbledon family in their private home. You will have your own room with private facilities as detailed. A hearty Continental breakfast is provided by the host family. Please note that a minimum of 5 nights applies to Homestay Visitors.
What next if I find a property in which I am interested?
E-mail us with details in the “Looking to Rent” box provided on our website. We will confirm if the accommodation is available and advise you of the procedure for contracts and payment.
How long can I stay? What if I need to extend?
All accommodation shows the length of time it is available for rent. If you require a longer period of time or think you may need to extend please let us know and we will check with the owners.

Is my property cleaned during my stay in a House or Apartment?
Wimbledon Accommodation will ensure that your property is clean and in an acceptable condition for your arrival. Housekeeping can be arranged on a weekly or even daily basis but this is an expense of the Tenant. The property must be returned in the same condition as at the commencement of the Letting.
What if I have a problem during my stay?
Detailed information is provided to you about all aspects of the property including use of the oven, security alarms and keys. You will also be provided with a full list of contact numbers in the event of an emergency.
What do I need to do if I want to let my House/Apartment/Homestay?
If you have not done so before there are many points to consider. Where will I stay if I move out? Do I need to empty all my cupboards? Am I covered for insurance purposes? You are invited to contact us and we can offer initial advice. Subject to initial discussions we will then visit you and explain in full detail what is involved.
